Not only is it the most ethical jewelry company I’ve ever come across, the jewelry is far better than any of the companies you mentioned. They will even discount your jewelry for any recyclable jewelry you send them.

While Etsy is a wonderful platform that I shop from regularly, naming the platform as a whole as a place to find sustainable and ethical brands is unfortunately not accurate. There are a ton of individual brands that sell on Etsy that do follow these standards though and I’d love to see some of them featured! Etsy is simply a platform to sell on, not a brand.

They use carbon neutral shipping, all recycled packaging and recycle all the scrap metals back into making more jewelry so it’s a zero waste process. They’re also small and women run and owned and made all in the United States.

They work with women artisans from directly to source all of their designs and the proceeds go to providing equitable quality education to girls around the world.

I found them when I was looking for a more affordable Morse code diamond ring. WOC owned and they use recycled materials and conflict free diamonds. https://www.everlijewelry.com/

Hi, thank you for reading and for sharing these brands– we will look into them!
There is definitely good reason to be wary of manufacturing in some countries, but that doesn’t mean fair labor factories don’t also exist! Check out our piece on breaking down the details about sustainable brands working ethically in China: https://www.thegoodtrade.com/features/ethical-brands-made-in-china/ Thanks for reading!
