I came across a somatic yoga video on YouTube, actually a channel, entitled “Bountiful Yoga”. I have since subscribed to that channel and try to incorporate it into my daily routine. It has helped immensely with some stuff I’ve been experiencing over the past few years (actually, since childhood!). And the instructor in the video makes me feel like I’m practicing yoga with a long time friend. It’s fabulous! Check it out. 🙂

Your wording makes it sound like it’s the other way around. The parasympathetic nervous system is the part of the central nervous system that promotes relaxation.
